The workshop is organised at 5 minutes by foot from station Brussel-Zuid. Hotel costs in Brussels are increasing for the period of the conference. So it might be less expensive to book a hotel in another city and to travel by train to Brussel-Zuid.

All the following cities still have single rooms available at less than 150 euro/night at a walking distance from the main station:

• Gent, Mechelen and Leuven are bigger cities located at less than 30 minutes by train and having at least 4 trains each hour. The stations of Mechelen, Mechelen-Nekkerspoel and Leuven are on walking distance from the historical town centre. In Gent you can take the tram to reach the historical town centre.
• Aalst and Enghien are smaller towns also located at less than 30 minutes by train and having at least 2 trains each hour.
• Antwerpen, Brugge and Mons are bigger cities located at less than 60 minutes by train and having at least 2 trains each hour. The stations Antwerpen-Centraal, Brugge and Mons are on walking distance from the historical town centre.

All these stations also have a direct train to Brussels Airport. So you can also arrive already on September 26th and schedule a walk through one of these historical cities.

Or you can take a morning flight to Brussels and only stay for the night from Wednesday to Thursday. With the train of 9:26 at the airport, you can still reach the workshop just in time. Leave the station at the staircase at the front of the train, turn right to the exit of the station. Turn left on Frankrijkstraat until you reach the venue of the workshop. There are 6 trains each hour from the airport to Brussel-Zuid.
